Aling Tonya’s Seafood Palutuan, Seaside Market, Alabang, Philippines, Spring Vacation 2010

Aling Tonya’s Seafood Palutuan was one of the places for eating that we went to for the duration of my stay in Manila before I left Philippines in May.

Aling Tonya’s Seafood Palutuan is located in Seaside Market along Daang Hari Road in Alabang.

We requested someone at Aling Tonya’s Seafood Palutuan to buy the meat, seafoods and other ingredients at the market for us. Aling Tonya’s then cooked the food for us.

Aling Tonya’s did a good job. All the food tasted good. We just paid for the services that Aling Tonya’s rendered to us. The price was reasonable.

Other places and restaurants where we ate in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Army Navy – Burger + Burrito, Bridgestone Building, Commerce Avenue, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Army Navy is located at the ground floor of Bridgestone Building along Commerce Avenue in Alabang. The place was not that big but the food was good. People were patient enough to queue just to taste Army Navy’s Burgers and Burritos.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Asian Hospital, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Desserts at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf were good and tasty. The place was not that big but quite very clean.

Vivere Suites’ Skyline, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines
As usual, we went back to Vivere Suites’ Skyline again, one of my favorite places in Alabang. We celebrated a friend’s birthday.

Almon Marina, SM South Mall, Las Pinas City
We went to Almon Marina in SM Mouth Mall for a quick lunch. I did not have the time to wait so we decided to try the food at Almon Marina. I was surprised because the food was fine. The price was really quite very reasonable.

Skyline, Vivere Suites, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Philippines, Spring Vacation 2010

I have eaten several times at the Skyline in Vivere Suites. I ate at the Skyline every time I went to the Philippines. I was always quite satisfied with Vivere Suites so I kept on going back there. I went there again with some friends.

Skyline is actually being called Skylounge now. I even asked why I have been getting emails from Vivere Suites mentioning the restaurant as Skylounge instead of Skyline. I am not sure if the reply that I got was exactly correct. Someone told me that they actually would like to distinguish the bar and the restaurant because some of the hotel guests would like to go to the bar only.

But I think, I really have to ask Vivere Suites again about it just to be sure. 🙂

Fish Out of Water, Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati City, Philippines, Spring Vacation 2010

I met some friends in Makati. I met another friend first before meeting a few more friends for dinner. We tried the ice cream at Gelatissimo in Greenbelt 5 and some dessert at Figaro Coffee Company at Glorietta.

My friend C and I wanted to catch up with each other. So, she accompanied me until my other friends arrived for dinner. It was indeed fun reminiscing our college days.

My friend C left us as she needed to go back to the office. My other friends and I went to the Fish Out of Water restaurant. Fish Out of Water is located in Greenbelt 5 at the Ayala Center in Makati.

Food at Fish Out of Water was good. The fish was just a little bit costly though. The restaurant was clean. The staff were also friendly.

It was another night of fun as we tried to remember our days in the province where we grew up. We parted our ways late already.

Until next time, my dear good friends!

Anyway, I met several friends in Metro Manila so I was able to go to a few restaurants.

Restaurants in Makati City, Serendra in Fort Bonifacio, and Greenhills in Metro Manila, Philippines

Bacolod Chicken Inasal, Jupiter Street, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

My friend B brought me to this restaurant along Jupiter Street. I heard a lot of good things about Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Well, the food that I tried was indeed good. Looking at the menu of the restaurants, it has a lot of choices and very affordable too.

Chow King, Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Well, my as usual ever nice friend B did not stop there. She brought me to Chow King and we had some “Halo-Halo” as well as “Pansit” for dessert. 🙂 It has been years since I visited Chow King and it was still the same.

Gloria Maris, Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines

Eating definitely did not stop there. My friends B and P brought me to Gloria Maris in Greenhills. We already planned to have dinner at B and P’s home but P asked us out. When they suggested Gloria Maris, I did not at all refuse. I have been craving for dumplings. I really ate a lot. It was indeed a lovely evening.

Deco’s Lapaz Batchoy, Southgate Mall, Magallanes, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

You would think, it was already over. No, it was not over yet. The next day, my friend B brought me and my niece at Deco’s Lapaz Batchoy. My goodness, it has been years too since I ate “Batchoy”. B definitely knew what I wanted. 🙂

Texas Smoke ‘Em, Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

My friend CL brought me to Makati to have lunch at Texas Smoke ‘Em in Greenbelt 3. I have no idea about the restaurant but my, I was surprised. The food was good. What did we have? Some baby back ribs or something? But I still remember, whatever I ate, it was tender. 🙂

Chelsea Market and Cafe, Bonifacio High Street, Serendra, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines

I met some friends in Serendra at Chelsea Market and Cafe for dinner. We did not eat a lot in Chelsea. We only have some salads and what was that? 🙂 I can’t remember it anymore. 🙂 Actually, the meeting was just about meeting some good friends, catching up with each other.

Gelatissimo Cafe, Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

I like Gelatissimo. Most of the ice cream were more than 90 percent fat free. My friend C and I just tried it and I loved it. According to my friend C, the ice cream at Gelatissimo was a little bit expensive compared to others selling ice cream with almost the same quality.

Figaro Coffee Company, Glorietta 3, Ayala Center, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines

My friend C ordered some chocolate dessert. I was supposed to have dinner right after that so I did not like to eat anything anymore. But my, when I tasted the chocolate, I almost finished what my friend C ordered. 😀

Well, that is all for now. Thank you very much for everything, my dear friends!

Until next time!

There were several more restaurants that we went to for eating but I will write about them later on.

Italianni’s, Alabang Town Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines, Spring Vacation 2010

I do not go often at the Italianni’s restaurant every time I go to the Philippines because pasta is not really my favorite. I definitely eat pasta but normally at home. But we decided to have dinner at Italianni’s in Alabang Town Center.

We had soup, salad, lasagna, and panna cotta for dessert. I liked the lasagna and panna cotta at Italianni’s. The soup and salad were fine too.

More Restaurants in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Burger King, Alabang Town Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

My nieces and I had lunch at Burger King in Alabang Town Center. Burger King was really a very busy place. We had to wait a little bit just to be able to find a table. We did not like to go to other restaurants anymore as one of my nieces was sort of in a hurry because of work. We definitely had to take care of the table so that no one would occupy it.

Vivere Suites Sky Lounge, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Vivere Suites’ Sky Lounge (formerly Skyline) is one of the restaurants in Alabang that I like to go to if ever I am in the Philippines. I like the ambiance and the food in Vivere Suites’ Sky Lounge. People are also very friendly.

Well, that is all for now. Until next time!
