Simple Happiness

There were several restaurants in Alabang that we went to for eating. Fish and Co., located in Corte de las Palmas, Alabang Town Center, was one of those restaurants that we tried.

I have tried Fish and Co. at the SM Mall of Asia before with Hub and our friend C. I found the food fine and so we tried the branch in Alabang Town Center. This time though, I ate at Fish and Co. in Alabang with my nieces.

I liked the fish that I had and found the place fine. I think I would go back there.

I have tried eating at CIBO before, so we went there again because I found the food and the place fine.

I have eaten at Tempura Japanese Grill several times. The food was fine for me. But I always forgot that I never liked its toilet but I kept on going back there.

Sophia’s Mediterranean Deli, Westgate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

It was my first time to try Sophia’s Mediterranean Deli. The food was fine for me but some of my nieces did not really find it so good especially if we consider the price. But the seafood platter was definitely good.

The price was a little bit expensive. If I compare the price and food with Vivere Suites’ Sky Lounge even if the two restaurants have different cuisine, I would go to Skylounge or Skyline.

The chef owner at Sophia’s was actually nice but the service was too slow. Maybe because there was a wedding reception outside and there was a birthday party upstairs when we went there. Since we were more than 10 persons, the ground floor got a little bit crowded too.

We did not go to Cafe Año for eating. We went there after we left Sophia’s. We just went there for some red wine and chatting. We stayed outside though. It was past 1:00 a.m. when we left Cafe Año but the people there never made us feel that we should be in a hurry.

The day after we went to Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay, we just stayed at our friend’s place in Alabang. We just chatted and did not go out the whole day.

We eventually decided to have dinner at the Tempura Japanese Grill in Alabang. When we arrived in Tempura, other friends saw us and they invited us to join them in their table.

After dinner, our friend TP invited us to go to Conway’s in Makati Shangri-la Hotel. He wanted to enjoy too as he was leaving for Canada the next day.

Food at the Tempura Japanese Grill was good. We definitely had enough but once we arrived at Conway’s, we ate again. We did not just order some drinks but pizza as well. I never ate pizza at Conway’s. I never even realized that Conway’s was serving pizza. In fairness, the pizza at Conway’s was fine.

There was a live band performing at Conway’s during that night. So we just enjoyed our night out listening to the band’s music. It was already past 1:20 a.m. when we left Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

We went to Tagaytay to have lunch at Sonya’s Garden. Lunch was salad and pasta. Almost all except the pasta that we ate were fresh from its own garden. You can eat all you can and Sonya’s Garden will serve more as long as you want.

After lunch, we went around Sonya’s Garden and Sonya’s Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast. It was so warm even in Tagaytay during that time but when we went inside the cottages, it was so cool inside. The place was so quiet, simply charming and really inviting.

We went to Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan, Philippines for a side trip and to show our guest the island of Boracay.

We also wanted to have some fruit shakes at Jonah’s Fruit Shake Boracay. But aside from fruit shakes we had some pizza too at Shakey’s Pizza Boracay.

We wanted to have a change of atmosphere so we went for a day trip to Boracay. We just had some cravings for fruit shakes and pizza, and Boracay was just around the area.
